Thanks for the support, Liz! First let me say that this event is very much inspired by the presentation that you and Steve Calde did for Portland. I'm hoping to continue the conversation here in Los Angeles because at our last two UX book club meetings, the topic (and usual debate!) came up and so it seems like the time is right for our local group to have a deeper discussion on this topic. :-) I believe that great discussions and workshops should absolutely be repeated in multiple local groups all over the world. That's the power of the local groups. They let us learn from each other and delve into certain issues where our community is conflicted.
