Hi,

$employer is moving to get a lot of iPads. $employees have the expectations

that IT can get their data back. As near as I can tell there is not a way to
backup iPads at an enterprise level. Does anyone know if such a beast exists?
What does your $employer do to back and protect the data on iPads?

A brief search indicates Druva has a product called InSync that can be used for
this purpose:

It looks like you have to voluntarily add some part of your data to their
backup/storage solution, and it isn't a set-and-forget for the whole device
(expected, with Apple's sandboxing, but still may become frustrating).

Brad,

Thanks. I will take another look at this, but when I checked it out before you could only upload a few things (e.g. pictures) and not data you created on the iPad.

cheers,

ski
