Whether we went the management company route or hire a person directly, would be up to the board and would require some research.
I wholeheartedly agree with Evan, "an ED would enable us to do as much or as little as we provide leadership for." The benefit I see is an ED is a constant stream of progress. Relying on volunteers mean you are at the mercy of their availability. I see LOPSA having a major issue with project continuity.
