Rapidssl - I seem to remember below EUR 20 per plain (non-EV) cert in
single quantity.  Bought through a reseller (one desk away) who used
their portal, took half a minute.  You send a CSR so they never see the
key as it ought to be.  Others give you cert + key, no thanks.

They offer prolongation 3 months before expiration and the new cert is
valid 15 months, 3 mo overlap means plenty of time to change e.g. TLSA
records.

OCSP works, you can staple, no prob.

Very small downside is you also need to put up an intermediate cert to
Geotrust.  (Geotrust's root in turn is hashed SHA1-only but it doesn't
matter since it's built into the browsers anyway - just mentioning).
