Keeping calm and be thoughtful is in general a good advice for life.

Saying I don't know the facts and don't want to support any part I believe
that
If the CoC committee is vanished the board has the duty to verify facts and
guarantee OSGeo is a welcoming community.

So I suggest/request the board not to ignore signs and give as a whole  in
the name of OSGeo  (not personally) some answers and position on this facts
with an official communication.

I believe that a serious foundation do like that. Give clear signs to the
community.
