Philip, I downloaded and installed your modified plugin and it works as you said. Took 20 mins off a clear and rescan (from 1 hour 20 minutes), and a new and changed music scan now takes 2 minutes 19 seconds. Mixes work the same. Also has reduced the number of albums in my library while maintaining the same number of tracks. Makes me ask why did the original version operate the way it did ?
