It required tapping on a disclosure button to pop it up and it was far to easy to miss and actually tap the whole row, thus destroying the entire playlist. I would say this, but "touch and hold" works really nicely. You just hold the row for a second and it will flash to indicate its been added. The downside is that its not immediately obvious, but then neither is the swipe to delete gesture unless you know about it.
