Make sure again that the modem is connected to the correct port of the
router - usually there is a "special" LAN port- make sure that's the
one connected to the router and that the PC is connected to one of the
"local" ports.
Also, you may try DHCP again, but making sure you specify the router's
address as the DHCP server.
Can the Mac see the internet?  (I believe  you say the PC/Squeezecenter
server can).
Another thing to try is if you can get your local devices to "see" each
other without connecting to the cable modem - disconnect the cable modem
from the router, and restart everything (try turning all the devices
off, turn on the router and give it some time to start, then the local
PC, and then the wireless devices).
