My two duets works great out of the box, every firmware for the last 7 months. Receivers are in two different parts of the house. The latest firmware has improved the reported signal strength. My wife, who is not a gadget person, loves hers. She listens to Internet Radio, and browses the library without using a manual or asking me for help. I run it off of a Netgear NV+, no problems ( except self inflicted ). If I could justify a Transporter it would free up a Duet for the shop ( or perhaps a SB3) :-). Just my dumb luck, I guess. Mark.
