OK so the setting with the later timestamp should rule then, Is this
always the case ?

Can it be so that if have an old account done with pin numbers and such
and a bunch of old players.
That when you conect with the new player and setting an email adress
then it syncs !

What i'm trying to say:

Configure squeezenetwork ca 2006 with pin numbers for your players.
Upgrade your server constantly. some where along the way you have to do
a clean install of the server 7.3 to 7.4 anyone ?

Then you do your clean install, unaware of that that the login
mechanism to SN or mysb.com have changed to use your email, which you
never configure.
All your prefs gone so your sbs is probably not communicating with
mysb.com anymore. Even if your players are registred.

Then you purchase an squeezplay based player (radio, controller,Touch)
and it's setup points you to do just that, enter an email, now your sbs
conects to mysb.com.

This was self correcting if you had a controller/duet factory reset was
mandatory there to so you did enter your email during 7.4 setup.

Factory reset was never needed for the old players, so they just
connects to your sbs again, never prompting for your email. I think if
you factory rests and remove and SB3 from your sbs, it to will take you
to a setup where you enter your email.

Now if you never had a squeezeplay based player, how do you configure
mysb.com and sbs for an email adress login if you never had to do it
trough the player menu ? and you old players all registered with pin
numbers to SN ?
