So, it needs a decent processor, a network, a big disc... Sounds like a "silent" PC, possibly headless, in a rackable box... not too hard to do, if you're so inclined. Then you'd be able to connect it not only to the SB2 next to it in the rack but also all of the other SB2s that you'll want around the house!
