I would never say wireless is "unreliable". Only that wired is _more_
reliable.  I have zero problems with my wireless connection and never
get dropouts streaming lossless FLACs.  Others run into occasional
interference problems from microwave ovens, neighbors' wireless
networks and other RFI.  The SB2's large buffer helps overcome many of
these problems.

If it's easy enough and not an eyesore, then yes, running cable is a
great option, but like kolepard says, get a wireless SB2 for the
placement flexibility it gives you.
