A confusing issue is to make transcoding work roku "emulated" an SB1
then the server knew which kind of files and streams it could use and
trans-coded accordingly .
So anyone doing this have to do something similar, then it is the UI
interface stuff...

If the players abilities does not really match any squeezebox then such
a vendor has to provide a server patch or similar .

This is why there is standard interfaces such as DNLA but apearently it
has limits ?

We can always hope for a more advanced media player/server standard
interface in the future ?
