Hmm. I guess we all agree a factory reset option, with some physical
means, is needed in the general public version of the device ?
Also in the list of buttons we don't care about but some people will
clamor for is a physical rf-kill button. No, a software rf-kill menu
won't do, for some it is not radical enoughÂ… (although I would guess
that on laptops, the physical button  is in fact routed to a
general-purpose switch which gets polled.)

(also, I know of a curious way to prompt reset on some internet boxes,
with physical interaction, without reset button. The routine is to
repeatedly -3 or 5 times- power on and quickly off the box by
plugging/removing the wall wart. I suppose this increments a (failed)
boot counter, and prompts selecting the factory firmware. That's scary
and messy -IMHO- but it does work and doesn't kill the box in the
processÂ…)
