I got frustrated last night, and uninstalled LMS...and then reinstalled it, and configured the three players again from start.
One thing I notice is that LMS now starts up a whole lot faster than it did before - used to take a few minutes to start up on a reboot, and now takes just a couple of moments. Hadn't done a fresh install of LMS since I got this current computer around three years ago. So far I've played a couple of selections this AM without any problems - we'll see how things develop over the next few days before I start posting server.logs.
