UPnP support is in LMS but you have to start it with the option enabled. I am afraid I don't use LMS that way but if you search around or ask a direct connection someone will tell you.
Basically if you enable it your Squeezeboxen appear as uPnP players (renderers) in things like Windows Media Player. What OS does your LMS run on?
