I got my remote and dont know why I didn't do it years ago. Makes life
simpler.

I see Walmart Canada sells them in their website, or rather a website
merchant does. About 50% premium over the list price. Says it isn't in
manufacturer's packaging to save shipping space. Allegedly "new
condition".

Is it reasonable to get a backup? It's really a question of how long I
can reasonably expect my new/refurbished one will last.
