I've had the Logitech Squeezebox alarm clock for a long time, but my
questions are definitely newbie level, I'm afraid. I've used it for a
long time without fiddling with any of the software or firmware. But now
I want to do something to install BBC Sounds, as BBC is going to stop
support for the stream I'm currently using.

I see info about a BBC Sounds plugin here. Correction: somewhere on this
forum. (I'm not allowed to post links for some reason.)
And instructions to install somewhere else (ditto).

But I don't understand. There's talk of a *plugin* there.
All I see in My squeezebox are *apps*. Nothing about any plugin.
Nor is there any section called plugins in the Logica Media Server
Control panel.
I've only just installed the LMS, I've only managed to do without it. In
fact, I can install it, but if I enter my data to log in to mysqueebox
account, it says it can't make the connection. This is on the same
computer where I *am* able to log in to my squeezebox via the web
browser.

I'm totally befuddled and hope I don't have to spend hours finding out
how to update & reconfigure the squeebox to work with BBC Sounds. Thanks
for any tips.

(By the way: is it really necessary to have that image verification
here? It's very hard to read what's on the images. It's taking me a no
end of tries, it's just bloody impossible. Don't be surprised if you
don't hear from me anymore, because I'm starting to think it will be a
miracle if this ever gets posted.)
