Okay, thanks for the tips. 
Well, I guess that simply means that I won't be able to play BBC3 any
longer a few months from now.

I can't get the server to log in, so I assume it won't manage to relay
BBC Sounds to my Squeezebox device.
Although strangely, when I go to that localhost URL, I do see the same
presets there that I see on mysqueezebox.com. So the two do seem to
communicate. (Also, it's not that the LMS can't reach mysqueezebox.com.
When I had changed my password, it suddenly briefly gave the
notification that the password was invalid, before reverting to the
'can't connect' message again.)


But anyway, even if the LMS would work, at night I switch out my
computer, so the LMS is turned off. I assume. 
What a strange set up this is for an alarm clock: surely it shouldn't
depend on your computer being left on overnight to function? 
Or am I overlooking something again?
