I don't have an answer for your second issue. As for the first, slimserver 6.5b1 has just the option you are asking for. I don't know if it is in 6.3.0 or not.
Note that 6.5b1 is clearly beta software and is not yet stable, so if you upgrade to 6.5b1 to get this feature then be prepared to also get some new problems.
