Looks like the word is that status.txt has been deprecated for a long time and will no longer be supported in 6.5 for use as a CLI interface. Jonas is aware of the proper telnet CLI interface and should move to that. Some good news here is that the AppleScript for controlling SlimServer is open and anyone could update it.
