I know (and probably most other posters on this forum know) that Slim
Devices, SlimServer and SB3/Transporter are an irresistable combo to
the more geeky 'audiophile' punter.

There's a certain cachet in being (or at least, thinking that you are)
ahead of the curve.

And my experience of personally dealing with SD reinforces that
'select' appeal. They are/were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

I fear all of this will be lost with the move to Logitech.

Logitech felt they had a gap in their portfolio and so casually
purchased SD to plug that gap.

And, in my experience, Logitech produce crap products.
