I have a better idea. My mail provider has a server that listens to ALL port numbers (even 0). Try, from behind your office desk, telneting to some ports: telnet pop.proxy.fastmail.fm 22 telnet pop.proxy.fastmail.fm 443 If your employer allows outgoing traffic to that port, you'll see: +OK POP3 ready Otherwise don't bother with changing slimserver's ports.
