I use one of these ( I think it is a HWUR54)G and got far better results than with EoP :-) I've used with 1 Netgear wireless router and some other WAP attached to a wired router. It seems to get lousy reviews but luckily I didn't see those before I bought it. It needed a firmware update for the later encryption (WPA?) but that was straightforward too.
