I bought - a number of months ago - a setup that allowed me to broadcast my music (via SB2) to a pair of speakers that could be either battery powered or plugged in.
It is not the best thing in the world, but we can put the speakers anywhere, either with or without batteries (we have never used batteries.) Out by the spa is wonderful, especially at night with just the stars out. I am not happy with the manufacturer because I had a few issues with them, but this is a possibility for others.
