Hi John Sorry for the confusion. I am pretty sure the headphone outs are not broken. I recreated the steps here and see the same behavior. I was using the latest SC and SB fw 84.
First, to use PowerSwitchII (and to see the 3.x volts when on) you need to install the plugin in your SC (as you did) and also enable the functionality through the player interface. Second, to get rid of it you need to remove the plugin from your SC, reboot SC and also reboot (power cycle) your Squeezebox. Hope this helps. Felix -- fcm4711 Everyone said: This cannot be done.
