I have been running Slim Server 6x for over a year and have been watching the threads on SC 7.0. Rather than jump in on my home network, I loaded SC7 on my laptop first.
I'm having the same problems as you: Can't start up SC7, ran the TCPView, etc. No connection. Bottom Line: I am not touching SC7 until I see progress.
