OK, here's one: Don't insult the people you work with. Not to their
face, not behind their backs, not even if you're sure they'll never see
or hear it. It's rude, unprofessional, and lack of respect for your co-
workers (if not for their abilities, then at least for the fact that
they're fellow humans) is going to affect you ability to do your job
well.
