Hi folks,
I have just come back today from the Sight Village technology
exhibition in Birmingham UK. It has run for the past fourteen years,
and it was a very interesting experience.
I had a look at a lot of interesting stuff, but I spent yesterday
afternoon quizzing the by three; Humanware, GW Micro, and Freedom
Scientific about any plans they might have to allow Apple to support
their products.
Humanware UK, did not know anything, they did not even seem aware
that Apple was endeavoring to do this. Although they did seem
genuinely interested.
Dan Weirich of GW Micro also seemed interested, and said that the
would find out, so i will be in contact with him shortly to see what,
if anything, he has found out.
Now for the really interesting news. According to Jonathan Mosen and
one of his colleagues - possibly Eric Dammery, not sure - Apple have
been in contact with Freedom Scientific to see what can be arranged.
According to what I've heard, it looks quite likely that Freedom
Scientific' displays will be supported, but don't take this as
absolute proof please!!!
All the best
Take care
James
