Hi.

Ok, this is a bit fiddly. The way it's *supposed* to work is this. Stop interacting with the web page and hit vo-a. It'll then start speaking the whole page.

I don't use groups either, but I'm presuming that it can also say everything in a group.

What *I* have a tendency to do is press cmd-a to select the whole web page and use the "start speaking" command, which I've assigned a hotkey to.

This is also what I use to read email. Select the message, hit start speaking. Saves a lot of jumping through hoops. Actually, thinking about it, most of my serious text reading gets done with that command.

Yes, it's messy, but I've found it to be more reliable.

The other thing I do when reading web pages is keep a text editor of some sort open, in my case, smultron. If I want to get fancy or if Safari's doing something strange with a web page I'm trying to read, I'll select all, copy, switch to a blank text editor document and paste.
