Well, ah, thanks, I realize now that I did neglect to mention that
this was only true in column mode. This is the mode I use 99.9% of the
time. I'll have to look into this issue with why it wouldn't
unhighlight for me, it used to work just fine, so something just isn't
happening in my case.
