Oh, it will? Because for me, it doesn't. Hmmm, I wonder what I am
possibly doing wrong.

Ah. I see. Thanks. Do I start the broadcast first and everything

Hey Orin. Before you start using nicecast, make sure that
whatever program you're going to use to play music isn't running.
That is, if you're using itunes, start nicecast before starting
itunes. Right now, none of the rogueamoeba programs can hijack
audio from a program that is already running.

Hello,
You could get software for the Mac to do this called NiceCast.
Although I still need help using it.
The thing is, when I try it, it doesn't work apparently from what
friends say when trying to tune in. When trying to tune into a
friends broadcast myself, (He selected the source and everything
which was iTunes), still didn't work. What happened there was
that you can see the title of the song that was supposed to be
playing, like the song was being displayed, but no audio was
being heard. Until, of course, the demo expired (His demo), and I
heard static. So there must be a way to make ITunes audio work.
It does state on the website that hijacking an application isn't
fully supported in Leopard yet, perhaps this is part of why it
isn't working. Maybe, the reason is so incredably stupid a
caveman could figure it out. Not me yet, though. You know what
I'll tell you, though? Unlike windows where you have to go and
edit a text file and crap, none of that here. The server is built
into the program. All thatis needed is trying to figure this
program out.
