laptopuser
UK Pricing is about £1100 or so dont quote me on that. check the
apple store
site for pricing
these machines are ideal for a studenjt, mobile user, business
executive etc
who doesn't need all the hardware of a mac book or mac book pro. I
personally wouldn't be interested in this as a laptop as I dont want
the hassle of
setting up wirless network points on differing locations, setting up
hosts to
run the virtual CD system etc.
the display is LED based rather than LCD so can be thinner but from
what
I've found on the testing I wouldn't drop it or be too rough on the
screen.
in the end in reference to josh's email/// its upto the end user as to
whether they wish to use expansion from USB modules, etc or wireless
networks but
you will actually find if you are a student especially in the UYK,m
though
colleges have Wireless ethernet installed it is only to B and G
standards for a
start and their wireless ports no not span buildings throughout a
site. so
ethernet cables are actually a must for a student in a college or
university.
anyhow enough from me.
