My first CD burner was the size of a home stereo and mostly produced
coasters. Once in a while it made a working CD which at 1x speed took up
to 80 minutes plus time to verify. You had to dedicate a Mac to running
it since if you tried to do anything else on that machine while it was
burning it might make another coaster. Ahh, the good old days. I'm glad
some things have changed :)

Well, they might work better on this device. Apple is known for
taking technology that doesn't work well and making it better. :)
Technology evolves. Ten years ago, CD burners didn't work all that
well either.
