Pricewise, you are right. MacBooks are least expensive, then MacBookAir, then MacBook Pro, but in terms of capability, it's different, because the MacBookAir isn't meant as a full notebook. Trying to compare it to a full MacBook is like trying to compare a Dell laptop to a BrailleNote. They have different uses and different target audiences.
