Yes i can appreciate that but i have a grey screen and can't even boot in safe mode.

Hi Keith, Esther and several others have posted solutions on how to get VoiceOver reactivated. One thing Esther suggested to me to check, is to make sure the F6 key didn't trigger on the Numlock. Press Command+F6, then try pressing Command+F5. When I had that problem, she pointed out that this works in most cases. However, I will have to look through my archived folders and reread that message because there were a couple of instances where that may not work. But it has been a life saver. HTH.
