what happens when you select acquire from the Menu? readiris will either work or it won't and if it doesn't work, it's been my experience that nothing will make it work except a different scanner. If your printing supports Mac, it doesn't necessarily mean that the scanner does. If you go to the hp web site and plug in the model of your all in one you can read all about it. They have documentation on all their scanners and software for them too on their site and I have found them to be most helpful when calling them.
