I seem to recall a short while back that to play something without importing
it or adding it to the library, just press space on it and it will play?

> Hi Erik,

You said: Well guys, it's byebye itunes for me. I will probably use
it as a pod catcher, since it works quite well in that regard, but
it's VLC for me from now on. I'm sick of it importing my voice mail
messages and audiobooks into my music library, and all the other
rediculous clouning around it does just to listen to music.

TK: Well, that's an interesting opinion. Clowning around? I'm not
sure I know what you mean here but I'll let you have your opinion.
iTunes is a wonderful program in my opinion that has far more
advantages than simply being a Pod Catcher. You just need to get used
to the way it deals with things that is different than the way that
the majority of Windows users have become accustomed to. VLC is good
as well, but I see no need to slam iTunes. There are simple ways of
doing things differently that will eliminate the frustrations you
speak of. Anyway, you're welcome to do your own thing and all the
power to you.

Later...
