use the Python 2.4 launcher to open the file. Once the file is
open in the launcher window, uncheck the selection that says something
like; open in terminal.
/click the run button at the bottom right of the window and you
should be good to go.
From then on, you should be able to select 'open' from the context
menu on the .pyc file itself and it should open fine.
