If its anything like its windows counterpart, in responce to your
first problem, make sure that the vm is in full screen.
There are some key combinations that get sent to the host os unless
the vm is in full screen, i'm guessing that the ones you listed are
some of them.
As I said, i've never really done the windows on a mac thing so i'm
basing my advice on the windows version.
