Use Xara on Linux now its being Open Sourced. Its the fastest vector graphics tool of professional quality out there. Its a pity it could not be integrated with OOo in place of Draw, that would have made the graphic illustration side of OOo superior to anything the competition can muster. (There is the added problem that its only being open sourced on Mac and Linux) This is a downside of monolithic applications. It fundamentally mitigates against mix and match of the best tools. Open Communication standards between applications and open data standards are important for the very reason that they enable more choice and competition to improve the technology. It will take time but ODF has the potential to create the environment for that sort of progress. -- Ian Lynch <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ZMSL --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
