About five years ago, there was a site on the Web that had folks email
them, and tell them how long their system stayed up without reboot.
Windows (or, as a friend seduced me into calling it, Lose), anyway,
Lose95 averaged 6 days, Lose98 was either 5 days or 2, I forget. 2000
stayed up longer, NT 4 was 49 days (some timestamp rolled over).
Meanwhile, some crazy who was running an old Slackware distro of Linux
claimed 1991 or so days.... <g>
