This is far from obvious. As others have pointed out,
recognition of words depends to some extent on the shape,
and on familiarity. If we assume (and this is perhaps
questionable:-/) that programmers read more English than
code, my guess would be that since the second version is
closer in shape to the version separated by spaces, that's
the one that should be easier to read.
