It may sound like that, but my current django project provides a SAML based Identity Provider, which can handle messages in SOAP envelopes, PAOS (reverse SOAP, if you've never come across it) and several other esoteric RPC procedures. Like I said, I actually do do Enterprise things with Django, not blogs or CMS. So, no, I can handle SOAP just fine in Django - I'd just rather not.
