I remember reading somewhere that you needed a midi loopback proggie installed to use rewire properly, like HUBI'S MIDI LOOPBACK DEVICE. Basically, I want to be able to load an instrument (sampler, rex player, etc) in Reason then using Cubase play notes from that player within Cubase's Key Editor... I'm using Cubase VST/32 v5.1 R1 and Reason v1.0.1, but I cannot get it to do what I want. I've loaded a loop into a Dr Rex Loop Player in Reason and then in the Output page in Cubase I've selected the relevant Rex Player, but if I record some notes into the Key Editor - it doesn't trigger Reason...Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong as I know it can be done...
