.... BTW has anyone heard of an MC from Kansas City by the name of Tech N9ne? He's been doing very dnb influenced stuff, but fully from the hip hop side of things, for a while now. Not all of his stuff is that great but definitely not to be taken lightly. Also Zion I have done some very nice pseudo-dnb. As dnb gets stronger in the States you'll see a lot more of this. ---
Yeah, I was just listening to Anghellic by tech n9ne last night and I was wondering who did the beat for "It's Alive". Some super evil version of Bone meets Dr. Dre and Full Cycle sounding stuff. This was on his website:
The album's explosive first single, "It's Alive," mixes up purist drum 'n' bass, hardcore jungle, with TECH's thug-mob gangsta underworld. "I wanted to get across 'one nation under a groove,' blow people's minds and open them up to partying as one," he says. "When you're at raves, you see every type of muthafucka. It's beautiful and I wanted to do that on a song, bring people together, for real."
