I suggest you really do your homework before spending �8000 on a D8B.
Even though they are shit hot mixing desks, it's absolutely useless unless you know what you are doing. If you are gonna buy the D8B, buy the UAD1 aswell as that expands and intergrates with the mackie.

Digital Village suggested that if I get a Mackie d8b before recording on to a CD recorder I should run it through a compressor/finalizer etc. Digital Village suggested a TL Audio C-1 + an Alesis Masterlink ML-9600 as it has finalizers etc? What do others suggest?
