Hi

Not got anywhere to post tunes at the moment (never find the time to look into it
really), but could send a CDr if you wanted...
I think the roll off is about 40hz or just under, but since my speakers only go to
50hz (and the ones in the car seem to be about 70hz), it doesn't seem to affect the
sound detrimentally (just made it better and less heavy really). Also the roll off is
a slope to 0hz, not a surgical cut, so I guess thats why it doesn't sound like the the
bottom has been completely removed like when i used Cool Edit to do the same thing.

Whats your setup, cos you mentioned simplifying my audio chain, so just wondered what
you used to get the sound you like,

Cheers
Dan

Hi Dan,

Glad to hear your bass is sorted althouigh rolling off everything below 40hz
sounds quite extreme, can you post audio of your work?

As for phatmatik, I've use it in the past and it's quite good, although
somewhat fiddly with the slicing. Its good quick alternative to Recycle and
a sampler though as you just drop the loop in and off you go...

Cheers,
Terry
