Yes, it's longer than the other one but it builds a live CD. It
brings Systemd in though.
I tend to consider the recipe of Refracta-no-dbus is probably the
best solution to build a Devuan system from scratch. Not in the spirit
of LFS, of course, but just to quickly get a basic, clean, and minimal
Devuan system which one can then customize with the package-management
tools.
One can add Dbus later if necessary. It is easy to add features; it
is more difficult to remove, due to dependencies.
