السلام عليكم For example, french had not done any innovation, they kept the same english configuration, Ctrl+A is "select all" in azerty, they didn't choose Ctrl+T for "Sélectionner tout" . It's a matter of usability and minimal efforts to solve the problem. As you can see, most shorcuts in english are in the left side, a Ctrl+Kaf that stands for Select all , will make an frequent action very hard. In addition, we should do the same as in arabic Mac OS and Windows. I don't use it, so I don't know what they did. I think that "having some 'weird' shortcuts like ctrl+ؤ " will make the arabic desktop more usable and will avoid us academic researches. _______________________________________________ Doc mailing list [email protected] http://lists.arabeyes.org/mailman/listinfo/doc
